I've been using this salt for a few years now, after picking up a jar at the farm while on a tour of that lovely part of Nova Scotia. Since then I've been ordering online and my package always arrives promptly. The salt is very 'salty'.. you only need a pinch in most dishes. I have a favorite roasted potatoes recipe that can't do without my lavender sea salt! It mixes well with most herbs, especially rosemary. I always use it with lamb and some cuts of pork. I've gifted several jars after many compliments on those recipes.
