Asclepias tuberosa
Butterfly Milkweed will produce flowers in various shades of orange. They like a hot, dry location. Milkweeds are the host plant for monarch butterflies. Adult monarchs visit the flowers for nectar and lay their eggs on the leaves. The leaves then become food for monarch caterpillars. Milkweeds are an essential addition to your pollinator garden!
Plants are for local pickup from late May - early July. We do not ship plants.
