Fragaria vesca (Woodland Strawberry)

Perennial

Fragaria vesca is a native wild strawberry. Like their other native cousin, the Virginia strawberry, they have a delicate white blossom and produce tiny (1-1.5 cm) fruits all summer long – and they're packed with flavour! We prefer the woodland strawberry for gardens, as they're flexible with light conditions and can be grown almost anywhere. You will find more flowers and fruit the more sun they receive, but their water needs will also increase accordingly.

Plants are for local pickup from late May - early July. We do not ship plants.
