With the complexities of U.S. Tariffs and the current Canada Post labour dispute, we are still shipping to the United States, but we are unable to offer flat-rate or free shipping at this time. We apologise and hope to restore usual shipping rates soon.
Fragaria vesca is a native wild strawberry. Like their other native cousin, the Virginia strawberry, they have a delicate white blossom and produce tiny (1-1.5 cm) fruits all summer long – and they're packed with flavour! We prefer the woodland strawberry for gardens, as they're flexible with light conditions and can be grown almost anywhere. You will find more flowers and fruit the more sun they receive, but their water needs will also increase accordingly.
Plants are for local pickup from late May - early July. We do not ship plants.
Fruiting time: early July until frost Fruit highly attractive to wildlife, mainly small rodents and rabbits
