Allium schoenoprasum

Not only are chives a magnificent kitchen herb with myriad uses, they are also a native plant to Nova Scotia with vibrant pink blossoms which are highly attractive to pollinators! Chives can be harvested any time that the foliage is green (usually April - December in our area). Sometimes called onion chives to distinguish them from non-native garlic chives.

Plants are for local pickup from late May - early July. We do not ship plants.
