Fennel

Foeniculum vulgare

Fennel is grown for its crisp, licorice-flavoured bulb. The stems and leaves can also be used for sauces and stews. You can also leave the plant to go to seed and use the dried seeds as a spice. Bonus: it may be used as a host plant by Black Swallowtail butterfly caterpillars!

Plants are for local pickup from late May - early July. We do not ship plants.
