Zines are self-published booklets that can be about almost anything. This one is about one of our favourite topics here at Seafoam Lavender: saving the Monarch Butterfly from extinction.
Save the Monarchs: One Garden at a Time contains 16 pages of original artwork by Kiva-Marie Belt (who is part of our Seafoam Lavender family!), along with information about the life cycle and biology of Monarchs, as well as threats to their continued existence. Most importantly, this zine teaches you individual actions that can make a difference and help to save this iconic creature from extinction.
Each zine includes 1 packet of milkweed seeds, the essential food plant for Monarch caterpillars.
Shipping note for Canadian customers: The website automatically charges a flat-rate of $13.50 per order. However, if you only purchase a zine, we can send it as an oversize letter by Canada Post ($1.94 + tax), so we'll refund the difference when we process your order.
